And I quote...

I know that quoting other people may seem like a pretty lazy way to debut my first "real" post on Ladies, Say What You Say!, but I am definitely in the mood for some words of wisdom so I thought I'd share some of my favorites of the day with all of you. I can honestly say that I am addicted to quotes. Every time I hear a quote that really touches me or makes me pause for a brief moment and think about things, I make sure to jot it down on a notepad or keep a mental note of it.

Sometimes, I find that other people have the unique and talented ability to flawlessly string together a group of words that, somehow, perfectly capture my very own thoughts and emotions. Years and years of unidentifiable (and indescribable) feelings can often be pinpointed and recognized by someone other than myself, simply by the act of reiterating an honest, simple phrase-- one that exemplifies exactly how I am feeling. Music and song lyrics do the same.
