Trivia: Reading Test

Sometimes we need to stop focusing on all the trivial details. Step back a little bit, so that we can see the whole picture.

I have done such test a few times, with different articles. But for each time before I started, I did not know that everything just "looked right" but in fact not. I presumed things were all right. Amazingly, for each "first" time I did it, I completed the article very fast and I totally got the meaning. But, when I knew what the test was about and read the passage again, I was way slower and sort of stuck with all those single words and letters. :o)

The phenomenal power of the human mind. To me, the power all lies in self-suggestion. Sometimes things can be easy when we think they are easy, while they are hard to handle when we think they are missions impossible. In Chinese we have similar saying which goes like "He who did not survive was scared to death, by the scary images in his own mind." Do not go to the extreme and be over-optimistic, just go for some positive self-suggestions, tell yourself that YOU CAN.
